Importing Client - Project Accounts
Lists of Client / Projects, and their Subprojects and passwords can be imported directly into Print Manager Plus allowing Administrators to quickly populate the list of Accounts that be chosen by End Users. There is a specific format for importing based on what is being imported.
The columns for import are in a predefined order, as laid out and explained below.
Client List Only:
This imports only a list of clients to choose from. The clients imported will be added as Top Level Clients, with no password.
Column Order: {Client Name} Sample Download
Client List with Passwords:
This imports only a list of clients to choose from along with a password. The clients imported will be added as Top Level Clients with passwords.
Column Order:
{Column Order},{Client Password} Sample Download
Client List with Sub Clients:
This imports a list of top level clients, and sub clients to go along with the list. The clients imported will be Top level clients, with sub clients. No Passwords will be set.
Column Order:
{Client Name}, {Client Password], {Sub Client} Sample Download
Client List with Sub Clients and Passwords:
This imports a list of top level clients, and sub clients to go along with the list and passwords for both. The clients imported will be Top level clients, with sub clients with passwords.
Column Order:
{Client Name}, {Client Password}, {Sub Client}, {Sub Client Password} Sample Download
Importing the List:
1. Once the file is formatted the way you need it, open Print Manager Plus Administrator.
2. Within [File] Menu choose [Import].
3. Click on the [Client Account] dialog. Within this tab browse to your newly created text or CSV file.
4. Once the correct list is configured and selected, click [OK]. The Client Billing tab will now show your clients.
