Software Shelf today announced the release of six additional tools to new Print Manager Plus® 6.0 to account for and eliminate printing waste in every environment. These Agents and Options were developed to satisfy customer requests and needs making Print Manager Plus the easiest and most effective print management solution for organizations of every kind or configuration. Award winning Print Manager Plus software is the first Microsoft verified and logo certified software to support Hewlett-Packard® Multifunctional printers' (MFP) walk-up copying or printing. Print Manager Plus Workstation Connected Printer Agent: This new utility loads on workstations that connect directly to standalone printers and then connects itself to the print server. It will track all local printing on the workstation standalone printers within the Print Manager Plus database to ensure total network coverage and print accounting.

Print Manager Plus Release Station Option: This is a web application that allows one to setup a workstation to release print jobs from. The new product loads on the print server with IIS running. It allows anyone or just the Admin to login and release print jobs. It fully authenticates through Active Directory. It is ideal for libraries and class rooms.

Print Manager Plus Add Credits Option: This is a free utility. It is a web application that runs from the IIS server. Functions include:

Authentication Module: This application based product is only shipped with Print Manager Plus 6.0 with Client Billing and Authentication. The Module installs on the workstations that you would like to authenticate printing from. The program can be manipulated by the Print Manager Plus service based on the authentication permissions you set for the user. Ideal for any kind of service company, lawyer offices, architects, engineers and others.

End User Inquiry Tool: This is a free application and web based product. The Tool installs on the workstations so users can see what their account balance is and how many pages they have printed. Ideal for schools.

Remote Report Viewer: This application allows the user to connect to the Print Manager Plus database remotely. It allows the user to run any report Print Manager Plus provides and export or print the report.

Other New and Improved points of Print Manager Plus 6.0 include features to meet every need for reporting, accounting for or restricting how much is printed. Installation is on the Windows print server. It is fully integrated with MS Access installation wizard, as well as the MSDE installation wizard or SQL installation wizard at the option of the administrator.
