Print Manager Plus is a Native Extension of Window with Seamless Active Directory Integration and New Vista Support
Palo Alto, California - London, England
20 March 2007
Software Shelf today announced the latest release to its flagship product, Print Manager Plus® software delivered through its unique Live E-Update that not only provides new features seamlessly to end-users but also keeps the product current with industry technical and security releases.

This update provides new features to more easily manage users in Active Directory as well as users from Non-Windows domains, an updated service that improves monitoring database and system functions, additional logging of page sizes and printer types covering every recently released printer on the market.

PMP runs as a service on Windows print servers and is compatible with all Windows versions including Vista.

Print Manager Plus supports all printers on the market.

It is the only print job accounting and management software that is not only verified and logo certified by Microsoft, but also native to and integrated with Windows with its look and feel as an extension of Windows.

Print Manager Plus requires no training for an average IT person familiar with Windows. It installs and is operating within minutes in the average organization with even thousands of users.

It is featured by Microsoft as the Public Sector “Solution of the Month” for March 2007 having maintained this status for the previous 17 months. No other job accounting software has been so validated by Microsoft nor ever been chosen as Microsoft Solution of the Month.

An industry study of 950 organizations using PMP with mixed printer brands showed that 63 percent of the respondents considered it so important that if HP would have provided PMP to them, they would have switched all their printers to the HP brand.

CEO, Bill Feeley said, “Our passion is ensuring continuous innovation coupled with the greatest ease of use possible for the end-user. Our E-Update service to all PMP licensees is a great feature as the end user is never left with non-current software and his printing enterprise is kept current with the latest technology changes in the market by the click of a button.”

Microsoft made Print Manager Plus accessible to all schools and universities worldwide last month upon the release of Microsoft Learning Network Manager (LNM). LNM includes a link to download PMP for 30 days free. No third party tool is included in LNM except Print Manager Plus. LNM helps schools save money for their budgets and Print Manager Plus is a tool that directly and quickly helps achieve this purpose for schools as well as businesses of all kinds.
